Essential Responsibilities: Translate firmwide Policies and Standards into actionable Procedures for implementation across technology and operations for models and non-model tools. Represent Technology and Operations to the Model Risk Management function and engage in working group to enhance processes and share best practices. Act as a subject matter expert in relation to various model development, model risk management, and model testing practices to advise on approach and execution. Guide Technology and Operations teams in developing and implementing effective governance for models and non-model tools, including vendor-provided solutions. Design and implementation oversight process across technology and operations to ensure adherence to defined policies/standards/procedures. Coordinate and support preparations of model and non-model tool validation, including complete tool documentation, outcome analysis, and ongoing monitoring approach. Drive and monitor necessary remediation actions with impacted individual with model and non-model tool related issues. Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years of model development, model risk management, or Operational Risk management experience OR in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/G.E.D. and minimum 9 years of model development, model risk management, or Operational Risk management experience. Demonstrated experience with complying with regulatory expectations related to model risk management such as SR11-7 and SR21-8 as well as OCC heightened standards. Experience and demonstrated track record for providing consultancy and assurance services for technology, operations policies and governance. Working experience with information security tools and technologies a plus.
